To say that people are on edge these days is a massive understatement. With everything from record inflation and gas prices to naked political corruption and one divisive story after another, people’s patience is understandably wearing thin.
One manifestation of this that I have been noticing lately is a trend of people having meltdowns and freak outs at fast-food restaurants. (What are they putting in the secret sauce?) Whether it’s being charged for extra sauce, too much mayo, not enough mayo, or getting the wrong item, some people are reacting with extreme and often violent behavior.
Memphis Tennessee
In a Memphis Tennessee McDonald’s, a man was given his $2 change in coins rather than bills, so he calmly walked away and took it in stride. (Nah, just kidding. He flipped the f**k out and caused about $10,000 worth of damage, knocked over some cash registers, and threatened to hurt a female employee.)
The incident occurred on the morning of June 19, 2022. No arrests were made.
